Our Commitment to Accessibility
Weekly is committed to making its website and mobile application accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We work to ensure our digital products meet accepted accessibility standards so that everyone can use our service.
This statement applies to the Weekly website (weeklygo.app) and the Weekly mobile application (Android and iOS).
Israeli Accessibility Regulations
In accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and its Amendment 35 (accessibility of internet services), and the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines adapted for Israel, based on WCAG 2.1), we are committed to providing accessible digital services.
Conformance Status: Weekly strives to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as required by Israeli Standard IS 5568. We are actively working to improve accessibility across all parts of our service.
Accessibility Features Implemented
Website (weeklygo.app)
- Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of each page for keyboard users
- Semantic HTML: Proper use of headings (H1โH3), landmarks (nav, main, footer), and list elements
- ARIA labels: Interactive elements and icons include descriptive aria-label attributes
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
- Responsive design: The site is fully usable at 320px width and supports browser zoom up to 200%
- Language declaration: The
lang="en"attribute is set on the HTML element - Descriptive links: Links have descriptive text that makes sense out of context
- Form labels: All form fields include proper labels and instructions
Mobile Application
- Screen reader support: Key UI elements include semantic labels compatible with TalkBack (Android) and VoiceOver (iOS)
- Touch target size: Interactive elements meet the recommended minimum touch target size (48ร48 dp)
- Text scaling: The app supports system font size scaling
- Color not sole indicator: Information is not conveyed by color alone
- High contrast support: Dark mode is available for users who prefer higher contrast
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that are not yet fully accessible and are actively working to address them:
- Some complex interactive demo sections on the website may not be fully keyboard-navigable
- PDF documents and QR code images may lack full text alternatives
- Some dynamic content updates may not be announced to screen readers
- The Friday AI chat interface is being improved for screen reader compatibility

The mobile application is built with Flutter and relies on the Flutter accessibility framework, which supports Android's Accessibility Suite and Apple's Accessibility APIs.
