Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Weekly's mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Weekly ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
• Your use of the Service complies with any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 13, and to delete any personal data collected from such users.

2. Description of Service

Weekly is a calendar sharing and coordination platform that allows users to:

• Connect and sync their Google Calendar;
• Create, share, and manage events with groups;
• Invite others to events via links or QR codes;
• Use the Friday AI assistant for scheduling assistance;
• Manage task lists collaboratively with group members.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You may register for Weekly using your Google account. By doing so, you authorize us to access your Google account information as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account;
• All activity that occurs under your account;
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@weeklygo.app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others;
• Transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or malicious content;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure;
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights;
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create through the Service (events, group names, task lists, messages). By submitting content, you grant Weekly a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit, and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The Weekly app, website, brand, logo, Friday AI, and all associated content and technology are owned by Weekly and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google (Calendar API, OAuth, Firebase) and Anthropic (AI features). Your use of these integrations is also governed by the respective providers' terms:

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEEKLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS).

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

For California residents: Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act.

We encourage you to contact us at support@weeklygo.app before pursuing any formal dispute resolution to allow us the opportunity to address your concerns.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@weeklygo.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
